lol - I thought I'd put in a freebie. That way if I have to bargain about something when it comes to fulfillment I have one I don't mind tossing out ;) I can use that pom pom cheering though. I got the latest Figi's catalog in the mail yesterday and almost put it on top of the pile of the other Figi's I haven't paged through yet >,<
as for the other - looooong story short (yeah, coming from me that phrase is rich) I got an agent (Ethan Ellenberg) and he shopped my book to about 12 of the big names. One (Mira) poked around at it for a while and then decided not to commit. Oh, and the publishing industry's profits went down the toilet this past year. So yeah, there I am! Now I'm looking into self-publishing AND writing another book to see if I can sell that one.
Book one was a historical fiction about Andromache (writers always do such a lousy job with her) set during the late Bronze Age just before the Trojan war. We'll see if book two - set in the far future and totally unrelated - does better ;) I think I need to write it first though - lol
