I'd say lovely, but that would refer to the design of the artwork. Cloud is not lovely. He is always potential or unleashed power which has it's own aesthetic, but lovely just doesn't convey that. He is gorgeous--but so much more. In another place, you asked your readers about whether one of your characterizations was true to the game Cloud. I don't have the background to comment on that, but I know when I read a real Cloud and when someone has gotten him all wrong. (uninformed bias, but I knows what I knows.) "My" Cloud is sometimes sad, reflective, sometimes cocky, stubborn as all git out, shy, protective, loyal...he loves who he loves fiercely (and I've come to accept him loving an astonishing variety of ff7 characters, though I have my preferences), a skillful warrior, lover, friend, parent figure...but what he is NOT is a limpwrist, whiner, or toy. The Cloud in this design looks a lot like the Cloud I know. Very cool, Tamara Alvarez. thx mc

I just want to say - I LOVE your view on Cloud. As far as I'm concerned, played the game or not, you've got him nailed. His coiled potential/power is intrinsic to him in my book. And so is your list of what he's NOT. I can't stand those stories that portray him that way and I think you summed up perfectly the three main faults of the writers that do. Once again, better than I ever could, you've said what I wanted to :)
