and it's ocvalkyrie 's birthday today.  Yesterday was words, today we get pictures!  Pictures with words.  Words I can't read.  But cute pictures all the same.  Hope you have an awesome birthday, ocv!

Well I can read all of the second one except for one or two characters, but unfortunately I can barely translate it (I could write it in japanese, but I doubt that will help anyone :P)

The first panel mentions "this belt" and there's a bubble with "thank you" in it too. The second one has "Cloud" (so I'm assuming Tifa talking there) and I think talking about "one of"...something XD I'm pretty sure that bubble on the left is saying "why?" 3rd panel on Cloud's side I think is talking about someone's hand?

The third one has a lot more kanji and is harder to read, but Tifa is talking about Cloud. And the first thing she says in the 3rd panel is "gas" and then I think the kanji for "healthy" (or at least the one used when you say "how are you?" "I am fine" etc).

Was that helpful at all? Not really, just follows the pictures, haha.

lol - well your translations are worlds ahead of anything I could have come up with. I just make up stories in my head to match the pictures and I'm more than sure I'm entirely off on what I'm guessing at. Glad you enjoyed them. I'm always so pleasantly surprised by what I stumble across sometimes online in my hunt for pictures :D Can't go wrong with Cloti, right?

Thought I'd join in on the birthday wishes for Valk, even though I'm 3 reports behind. That last one was adorable!!!! How come we can't get it in English???? Where'd you get it, sweets?

I know. I need to learn to read Japanese just so I can understand all these adorable works. Tae is going to post it in her journal though and we'll see if we can't get a translation that way since she's got a couple of people that have done translations in the past ;)
