I need to reedit this entry. It was four in the morning and I was tired.

I wish she was, but no, she died. I'm not sure if it was something she ate or infection left over from the surgery. The nice thing was that I got to be there for her to snuggle up against as she went. Cripes, I know they have short life spans but I don't know if I'm ever going to get good at letting them go.

I only ever had 2 hamsters. One escaped and made itself a cat-snack. The other managed to snag some synthetic Barbie hair (maybe for nesting, no idea) and ingested it. I held him as he died. :(
